Does smoking normal cigarettes make you feel high at all?

Like, why people start smoking, even in the first place? I know their addiction, but is there some kind of initial 'high' effect that makes smoking even before you are addicted to nicotine?

No, it is high. At first it was Get A Rush little head, but that did not last long. People usually start because they think it will be cool / fun / friends do, etc. Most people hate at first, but it's not long before you start to enjoy it. From there begins the addiction. When I smoked was the ritual that I liked it. I loved my IGC lighting or stirring the ashes and go out for a smoke break with people. It was also a great way to meet girls because she had always a cute girl looking for a bum cig or get a light. It was an instant icebreaker.
