I have surgery coming up soon and they told me I have to quit and I will give a nicotine test before surgery. I know that its important to stop smoking now, but it makes me very, very hard to quit. Does anyone know how many days it takes to pass a nicotine test?

The common answer to this question used for smokers trying to quit smoking is 72 hours, or about three days. However, your doctor may have a more sensitive test that may be able to check the deeper tissues of the class or something.
