lung cancer alternative treatments

alternative cancer treatments for stage IV cancer?

I was wondering if anyone knows of any alternative cancer treatment? Ive been doing some research about it and want to know some more information, my father was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer and almost said there was not much we can do except chemotherapy, I refuse to believe that there is nothing more you can do not mean to sound rude, but I know a lot People do not believe in alternative therapies, to be honest I do not know if I do well. please do not respond with reasons why it should not, know that the treatments Alternative means there is almost no scientific evidence of results.
